IdentiFlight Enters the French Energy Market as German e3 IDF GmbH Announces New Office in Nantes

Today the German e3 IDF GmbH announced its expansion  as it opens a new office in France as an extension to the partnership with IdentiFlight International. This new office is operated by the 100% subsidiary e3 IdentiFlight France and will afford French customers a local sales presence to assist with renewable energy project development where IdentiFlight’s certified avian detection technology is required.

IdentiFlight received acceptance from French authorities earlier in 2023 as effective in reducing fatalities of red kites within wind farms, which was the first time that French authorities have validated an automated system as a sufficient mitigation measure to reduce the risk of bird collisions.

The demand for wind energy is not showing any signs of slowing,” said Jens Schoettler, CEO of e3 IDF GmbH in Germany. “The expansion of e3 offices to France will allow us to respond to and meet the growing need of bird detection and protection across Europe.”

President and Chief Operations Officer of IdentiFlight International, Don Mills went on to say, “We are thrilled that the launch of e3 IdentiFlight France will enhance access to our technology to meet the unique needs of the French market.”

IdentiFlight International, e3 IDF Germany, and e3 IdentiFlight France will introduce the CEO of the French office at the 13ème Colloque National Eolien 2023, a tradeshow hosted by France Energie Eolienne on October 4-5, 2023 at Parc Floral in Paris. Join team members of the international IdentiFlight offices to get the latest information on the certified bird detection system at Booth 13.
